Sam Peacock

Sam creates abstract paintings reflecting the evolving landscapes of Britain and Australia. He uses a mix of recycled metals and paints. He is interested in what lies beneath the surface, using a metal detector and often digging holes to study the geology. He finds stories within the landscape, such as ancient pathways and the locations of planned hydraulic fracturing. He grew up in Rugby, Warwickshire where his love of the ever changing landscape and the politics surrounding it began. He completed a BA in Fine Arts at Coventry University.
