Ema Mano Epps

 

Ema Mano Epps is a London-based multidisciplinary artist, curator and founder of Platform 1 Gallery.
Her practice is informed by daily nature encounters and Transcendental Meditation.
She brings together raw, foraged and reworked materials forming an abstract language that is expansive and deeply personal.

Born in Yugoslavia and of Macedonian heritage, Ema’s solo exhibition Надеж (Hope) was presented by the Embassy of North Macedonia in London in 2023. 
She has exhibited with Gerald Moore Gallery, Gallery No.32, Stonelane Sculpture Gardens, Fern & Glade, Koppel Project and Mall Galleries with collaborations at Tate Modern, the Design Museum and Leyden Gallery.

 

Ema is a 1st Class MA graduate from Fine Art City & Guilds of London Art School where she held the alumna Residency and a Board Trustee role. She supports contemporary artists by providing an ongoing residency programme at Platform 1 Gallery.
