Clare Dudeney’s work captures the subjective experience of being through relationships of colour and shape. She traces thoughts, memories and feelings to create abstract landscapes - with the unexpectedness of encounters with nature.

Drawing from the bark of plane trees, rock pools & ice formations and experiences of wild swimming. She has recently undertaken artist residencies in Antarctica and the Chilean fjords, sailing around the Scottish isles and exploring the Cornish coastline.

She received an MA in Fine Art from City & Guilds of London Art School in 2018 and held the position of Chair of Students and Trustee 2018-19. She runs art and science educational workshops in primary schools, in collaboration with physicists from Cambridge University.

She has worked for 15 years in climate change and energy policy. Currently working on a freelance basis for an environmental charity called Sustainability First leading a project that combines art and sustainability.
